A team from UAB’s Collat School of Business’s Green and Gold Fund, an award winning, student-led investment fund, took home second place in a futures trading competition against hundreds of teams from 226 universities representing 37 countries. CME Group’s Trading Challenge is an electronic investments trading completion, and the UAB team placed first among all U.S. universities, as well as placing second in the international competition.
